How I Became "Manny The Pool Man"
Over two decades ago, I started cleaning pools in Pinellas County back when business was done on a handshake and a customer's trust was something you earned every single week.
That standard hasn't changed for me.
I've watched the industry evolve. Big pool companies came in promising convenience but delivered rotating technicians who barely knew their customers' names. Franchises grew, charging premium prices for assembly-line service. Pool care became transactional.
I went the other way.
"My customers know my name. I know there's. I know their pools, their pets, and their kids who use the diving board on weekends. That's not a marketing strategy, that's just how I do business."
What started as one truck and a route through Clearwater has grown into a trusted operation serving five cities. But I'm still the one showing up at your home. Still the one testing your water. Still the one you call when something goes wrong.
Florida is brutal on pools, the UV burns through chlorine, summer storms drop algae overnight, and salt air corrodes equipment if you're near the coast. Twenty years of working in this climate taught me how to keep Pinellas County pools clear, balanced, and ready to swim no matter the season.

These aren't slogans on a wall they're how I actually work, week after week, for every customer.
Show up when you say you will
Reliability is the foundation of pool service. If I say I'll be there on Wednesday between 9 and 11, I'll be there. If something changes, you hear from me first, not after I miss the visit. Customers shouldn't have to chase down their pool guy.
Do the job right, every time
The cheapest pool service in town isn't a bargain when it leaves your equipment failing and your water unbalanced. I test all five chemistry parameters every visit, inspect equipment for early warning signs, and never cut corners just because a customer wouldn't notice.
Tell customers the truth
If your pump is fine, I'll tell you it's fine even if it's old. If your filter cartridge can last another season, I'll say so. I'd rather lose a sale today than lose your trust forever. Honesty is the only sustainable business strategy.
Treat every pool like it's mine
I take care of customer pools the same way I'd want mine cared for attentively, thoroughly, and with respect for the property. That means cleaning up after myself, securing gates behind me, and noticing the little things that matter to homeowners.
